1. Overview
BurnLens Fitness ("BurnLens," "we," "us," or "our") is a mobile application published by Level Up Capital, a Florida-based company. This Privacy Policy explains what information BurnLens collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
By downloading or using BurnLens, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Data We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to deliver a personalized calorie-burn experience:
- Body metrics — age, weight, height, and activity level that you voluntarily enter to calculate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR).
- Camera frames — real-time video used to identify gym equipment. Frames are processed on-device and are never transmitted.
- App usage signals — anonymous crash reports and performance diagnostics via Apple's built-in analytics (if you have opted in through your iOS device settings).
- Subscription status — whether you hold an active BurnLens Pro subscription, managed entirely through Apple's App Store infrastructure.
We do not collect: name, email, phone number, location, photos saved to your library, contacts, or any government-issued identifier.
3. Camera & Media
BurnLens requires camera permission solely to scan gym equipment and return a calorie estimate. Specifically:
- Camera frames are analyzed in real time using on-device machine learning models.
- No images or video are saved, stored, uploaded, or transmitted — to our servers or any third party.
- The App does not access your Photo Library.
- You may revoke camera permission at any time in iOS Settings → BurnLens → Camera. Revoking this permission disables equipment scanning but does not affect other app features.
4. Body Metrics
The age, weight, height, and activity-level values you enter are used exclusively to compute your personalized BMR and calorie-burn estimates. This data is:
- Stored locally on your device using SQLite (sandboxed app storage).
- Never transmitted to BurnLens servers or any third-party service.
- Deleted when you uninstall the App or use the in-app Delete My Data option.
5. Usage Data
If you have enabled Share iPhone Analytics in iOS Settings, Apple may share aggregated, anonymized diagnostic data with us about crashes and app performance. This data:
- Does not identify you personally.
- Is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not ours.
- Is used solely to improve stability and performance.
You can disable this sharing at any time via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
6. Third-Party Services
BurnLens does not integrate advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or data brokers. The only third-party infrastructure involved is:
- Apple App Store — handles app distribution, in-app purchases, and subscription billing. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Apple Device Analytics — optional, opt-in crash and performance reporting as described in Section 5.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to any outside party.
7. In-App Subscriptions
BurnLens Pro is available as a monthly subscription at $2.99/month, processed entirely by Apple. We never receive, store, or process your payment card information. Subscription management (cancel, upgrade, downgrade) is handled through your Apple ID settings.
To cancel: iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → BurnLens Pro.
8. Children's Privacy
BurnLens is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has used BurnLens, contact us at support@burnlensfitness.com.
9. Your Rights
Because BurnLens stores data only locally on your device, you have full control at all times:
- Access & Review — all your data is visible within the App's profile and settings screens.
- Correction — edit your body metrics directly in the App at any time.
- Deletion — use the in-app Delete My Data option, or uninstall the App, to remove all locally stored data.
- Portability — because data never leaves your device, no server-side export is needed.

10. Security
All data is confined to your device's sandboxed application storage, protected by iOS's built-in encryption and access controls. We do not operate servers that hold your personal data, which eliminates server-side breach risk. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device (PIN, Face ID, Touch ID).
11. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice within the App. Continued use of BurnLens after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
